Advance Camp Texas Practice Makes Progress

Proverbs 4:25-27 Let your eyes look straight ahead; fix your gaze directly before you. Give careful thought to the paths for your feet and be steadfast in all your ways. In-Class Training

We started our day with in-class training on all things shotguns. We were trained by an NRA-certified trainer on all the parts of a shot gun, safety, how to carry it, and how to lead birds when using it for hunting.

Applying The Basics

Next, we hit the range. We went 1 by 1 with practicing what we were taught in class. This is all in preparation for our next camp, when they will be applying these skills in real-life duck hunting.

Stepping It Up a Notch

Once our campers got the basics down we went through multiple different flight patterns and numbers of clay targets. We wanted them to learn in the closest, realistic environment as possible. They also got to shoot a variety of shotguns, pump, semi-auto, and an over/under.
